New Ranch Developments

Chickens. We love chickens. You knew we loved chickens so you sent us amazing chicken cards. Awww. You shouldn't have. No, wait, yes...you should have......those chickens are awesome. And crazy looking. What we're trying to say is.....holy shit, those chickens are amazing! Oh wait, no, we already said that.......we mean......thank you. And now, in return, witness amazing new ranch developments through this blog created out of love and boredom just for you!

We've finally proved our OCD through crazed picking....

....Rachael's bedroom door, previously adorned with profound poetry and lovely puffy paint, is now considerably more distressed.

Deb got a super fantastic Slow Food poster for the kitchen.
We threw out all the crap on the bulletin board. Exciting and stimulating. We know. Breathe it in.

Rachael loves the adorable green bear pillow! And it matches the crazy green poncho that Patty gave her. Which is pretty much destiny. I mean, really.

Michael came to the ranch for Rachael's birthday! (Apologies to Michael, this was the only picture from the weekend and admittedly was a camera test shot.)

Deb made an incredible Cake Wreck for the aforementioned birthday, complete with Baby Spike riding a pomegranate chili pepper. As if that wasn't wrecktastic enough....it never set. Which meant not only did it have a plastic baby riding it, it was a soupy pudding mess with CURDS of cheesecake inside. That's right. Curds.

A bird has built her nest....in the bathroom!

We took a trip to the UP to check out that awesome bridge....

investigate new trees .....

look at monuments covered in tarps....

and eat veggie pasties (use your imagination for that one). What a hoot.

NEWS FLASH!!! Yogananda continues to inspire us daily with his upraised hands. (Rachael is a bit more....erm.....exuberant about her god.)
